my epic miracle

Ruby gave me the fire back for competing in 2021 after struggling with all of my horses having injuries and trying to get back into competition after having my first child. Ruby has run multiple low-17's on a full standard set, including a 17.1 at the MVP in Buckeye, AZ. Unfortunately I had to retire Ruby much sooner than I wanted to.

Ruby's sire, Epic Leader, has won over $168K in the barrel pen himself, with progeny earnings now exceeding $4.3 million. He was 2019's #1 leading futurity sire by average earnings and sired two of the top ten futurity horses of 2019. Epic Leader was sired by Confederate Leader. Confederate Leader won $1,640 on the track but sired earners of hundreds of thousands of dollars. Confederate Leader was sired by Special Leader, who had a SI-103 earning $292,605 and sired progeny earners of over $12.9 million. Confederate Leader's dam, Southern Streaker, had a SI-103 earning $103,690 and producing ROM race horses. Epic Leader's dam, Firewater Fiesta, is notably one of the most recognized producing dams today. She won over $800K herself, with accomplishments like WPRA Reserve World Champion, Speedhorse Silver & Gold Cup Derby Champion ranking herself the $1 Derby horse in year-end winnings, she qualified for the NFR 2X, won a round at the NFR, multiple PRCA rodeo winner, won the 2000 Rising Star Award as well as AQHA Horse of the Year in 2000. She produced progeny with earnings of over $782K. Fire Water Fiesta was sired by Fire Water Flit. Fire Water Flit had a SI-86, earning only $440, but sired offspring with earnings of over $2.9 million, of which $2.4 million of that was in barrel racing. He was the all-time leading barrel horse sire 2006, 2007 & 2009 and held the spot of the nations leading maternal barrel horse sire for over a decade.

​Ruby's dam, LRH Ali Marae, has produced multiple 1D/pro level barrel horses. She was sired by Miracle Streak, a stakes winner who had a SI-104 earning $139,254 and was sold to Brazil. He is a producer of ROM Race. Miracle Streak was sired by Streakin La Jolla, who had a SI-99 earning $56,227 and siring progeny with earnings of over $18.3 million. Miracle Streak's dam, Dashs Co Ed, had a SI-101 earning $2,180. She produced earners of over $474K. Dashs Co Ed was sired by First Down Dash, SI-105 earning $857,256 and siring progeny with earnings of over $33.4 million. LRH Ali Marae's dam, DRH Bring The Cash, was sired by DRH Lightning Cash, who had a SI-92 earning $6,047. He was sired by Dash For Cash, SI-114 earning $507,689 and has sired progeny with earnings of over $39.9 million.
