Annie ran in futurities as a 4yr old and did pretty well. She then went to the ranch with Shane Bessette after her futurity year to do ranch work and be started in roping before continuing her barrel racing career with Ardythe Bessette. They won several champion titles together including multiple UBRC Ledge Gun National Championships before she was retired to the broodmare pen.
